A visual account of the week gone by

The last week has thrown up some great conditions. While the ocean has finally reached it cold, wintry potential, the days have been warmer and the sun has been shining. I almost found myself starting to like winter…almost.

I’ve been experimenting with my camera settings of late and shooting in different modes. It has been a process of trial and error (on the most part, error). I am taking an online photography course which has helped me to get my head around the technical nature of my camera. The course is run by my favourite landscape and sports photographer of all time: Chris Burkard. For those of you who aren’t familiar with his work, do yourself a favour and check him out!

The shots in this post are all my own and were taken in my local area over the course of the last week. I hope you enjoy them. I just heard that there is a seal that has made a home for itself on the rocks down at my local beach so I’m off to check him out.
